The Little Tea Pot from Sainte-Thérèse
The Montreal Bicycle Club had our first 2025 EXO train / Cycle combination ride on the 27 March. For our starting point, Sainte-Thérèse 's Cafe de Ville aka Les Allumées , summoned us to get up early to catch the 7:02 St Jerome train at Vendome station, and soon members appeared at the cafe's entrance. The road conditions were clear, with patches of unmelted snow on the shaded bike paths. We crossed from the North Shore on to Laval over the Papineau-Leblanc bridge, which is being rebuilt. The bridge, built on 1968 has 6 lanes of traffic plus the walking / cycling path. Isn't it amazing that Montreal requires reconstruction of such major infrastructure and has become routine?
